How Churches Can Get Involved
As Christians we know that every human life is a gift from God, created on Purpose, with Purpose, for a Purpose. But when women face unplanned pregnancies, abortion often seems like the only solution. These tiny lives – created in the image of God – are ended, before they breathe their first breath.
Your church can help women and men learn the truth, and find help & hope for what they are facing, when you partner with the WHC. Church partnership helps promote the sanctity of human life in the community, giving a voice to the voiceless, and sharing the unconditional love of Christ to women, and men, in need.
We are so grateful for the various local churches who have designated the PRC as a local mission. We are equally thankful for the faithful monthly financial support that we receive from our local churches in support of the Pregnancy Center Ministry.
Our staff and Client Advocates feel honored to be able to minister to those facing an unplanned pregnancy decision, so they feel empowered to choose life. In sharing the hope of Christ, we see God’s grace pour out over the lives we touch.
As the Local Church You Can:
Introduce the WHC to the body of Christ by hosting a Baby Bottle Campaign. We will provide you with the baby bottles & support needed to distribute the bottles to individuals within your congregation. They would then fill the baby bottle with loose change, cash, or a check. At the end of one month, these individuals then return the bottles to the designated area in your church and we will work with you to collect the bottles. Your change can help save lives. Consider hosting a baby shower event at your church to collect new baby items that are needed at one of the Centers. These gifts will then be given to moms who have chosen life, providing them with the material support they need for their babies. Volunteers are an integral part of Women’s Help Center. Each person brings their unique talent and perspective to our mission of saving preborn babies and their parents from abortion. Opportunities are available at all our offices and include:

Become prayer warriors. Your prayers will lift up volunteers, clients, and staff. Praying that hearts are open as volunteers share Jesus and encourage a choice for life.

The WHC can help promote practical information regarding healthy vs. unhealthy relationships, decision making skills, and why waiting until marriage is 100% the best practice! We will provide Biblical truth about God’s original design for sex and relationships and the consequences we see from those living outside of God’s design. Start the discussion here. Our Healthy Choices Program also offer middle school and high school programs which encourage abstaining from drugs and alcohol.

Schedule a Speaker at Your Next Ministry Meeting or Event
Invite one of our staff or Board Members to speak at your church. We can celebrate the value of EVERY human life, anytime. Our speakers can give a broad-brush overview of the ministry in about 3-5 minutes or present a more in-depth look at our services during ministry presentations.

Turn to the WHC for help promoting Risk Avoidance Skills (Abstinence Education) in your church youth group. Your teens will learn practical information regarding healthy vs. unhealthy relationships, decision making skills and why waiting until marriage is the 100% best practice! We will provide Biblical truth about God’s original design for sex and relationships.
Invite A Speaker
To Your Church
Sanctity of Human Life Sunday (SOHLS) celebrates the value of EVERY human life. SHOLS is traditionally the Sunday before the anniversary of *Roe vs. Wade in January, however, the WHC is available to speak at any time you wish. Invite the WHC to speak at your church or simply ask us for free bulletin inserts and video resources to use during your service.
*Roe vs Wade was the court decision in January of 1973 that made abortion legal in the US.)
